HHCNU = HUNCH, HRTTU = TRUTH, ENGLED = LEGEND, AINAGU = IGUANA — Giving us: HHTRHEEIG
Clue/Question: How do they say HELLO in the Alps?
Answer: “HIGH“ THERE
(Cute! Not terribly tough, but fun. All old favorite clue words today. But, with all new jumbles. I got them all instantly, but I thought “engled” and “ainagu” were good jumbles. The answer letter layout was nicely cryptic. Great hiking cartoon. Climb every mountain. Ford every stream. But only if you have waterproof hiking boots! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
I managed to pull down an extra letter, so, until I figured that out, I was rather stuck. When the error of my way was discovered, it was Jumble over!
So, it must not be cold at the top of the Alps??? No one had on a heavy jacket! LL
Thank u soo much!!!!
Before I looked at the letters, I expected the second word of the solution was YODEL. Something like, “When they left Switzerland, the tour guide said … YODEL BE BACK!” Once I saw there was no Y to be found, it downhill all the way.
Funny HB76!! LL
