Clue/Question:  The bird never got upset or perturbed and was always composed.  He was – – –

(This one has an air of originality.  It didn’t come off as a retread, like some of them do.  None of today’s clue words are new, but all of the jumbles were.  None of them tripped me up though.  The answer letter layout was a great, cryptic jumble.  Nothing obvious about it.  The cartoon is a great backyard scene.  Nice yappy dog, and a very handsome cardinal.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
