Clue/Question: When it came to catching trout, the skilled angler was – – –
Answer: “PRO–FISH–IENT“
(Izaak Walton would love this one! Let’s add this Jumble to “The Compleat Angler”! I used to fish as a boy. It was great fun. Caught mostly creek chub, rock bass, sunfish, the occasional carp and bullheads. I’ve even caught a couple of smallmouth bass, and one trout. Always catch and release. As an adult, I tried to take one of my step-sons fishing once. Zilch. Nada. Ungatz! I think I lost my touch. Maybe, I’ll try again someday.
No new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new. I thought “zoicre” was a great jumble. The answer letter layout was nifty too. The avoidance of the word FISH set the hook, for me. I’m guessing Jeff knows the “skilled angler”. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
