Clue/Question: After a long day of casting sinister spells, the evil witch had a – – –

Answer: WICKED HEADACHE
(You’d almost think that bad things would be pleasurable to someone so malicious! No? Okay. Very cute pun, anyway. All of the clue words are old favorites, again. Two of the jumbles came up as new, with “sacee” and “dulced” having definitely been used before. A very impressive answer letter layout. Both long and cryptic. It was the cartoon though, that both took the prize, and made the answer pretty simple. The bad witch is holding her head, and her dialog used the word “skull”, to avoid using the word that would be in the answer. But, it’s a great Glinda and WWW, and a very cute flying monkey. Why do so many people think the word “monkey” is so damn funny, anyway? With the newest Planet of the Apes movie, that’s opening this weekend, all the television personalities think they are so clever calling it The Monkey Movie! Of course, this isn’t the first time. They seem to do it all the time. Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Orangutans, and – to a lesser sense – Gibbons are all Apes. Genetically, they are much closer to us than any monkey is. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t find mindful ignorance amusing. Harrumph! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
