(And, a much larger – and stronger looking – physique!  There is something very familiar about today’s pun answer.  Maybe we’ve seen it in a slightly different context?  All of the clue words are old favorites today, and both “ginet” and “girheh” have been used as jumbles before.  The other two came up as new.  The answer letter layout was a splendiferous jumble!  I knew, with the quotation marks and the scale, that WEIGH had to be the third word, and RIGHT OF made sense of the pun.  Fun cartoon.

Happy Bastille Day, to the United States’ oldest friend and ally, France!  I just thought I’d mention this, since President Trump thought that most Americans were not aware of this!  Very strange, since there are 29 places in the U.S. with  – one form, or another – of the name Lafayette!  So, take that, you “Freedom Fries” chuckle-heads!  LOL!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Thanks Unc! Bastille Day! I am always in awe and brought to tears when I think of those who have gone before us and fought for our freedom.

Well, I went with “WEIGHT” and then obviously had issues! I was thinking tthe answer had something to do with to WAITING! Fortunately I found the error of my “weighs” and got it all done in good order!

    Take care all!! LL

Oh, this is old. Goes back to 1975’s Caress of Steel album. I first heard it on the live album, All The World’s a Stage, it’s the opening cut (which is basically the same as this version).
If you’re curious, here’s the version with lyrics. It’s pretty topical.
