(I guess the guy went bankrupt, and needed the help of Dan Fielding, aka John Larroquette!  None of the clue words are new, but all of the jumbles seem to be.  I had a little trouble getting “polish”, but I got it . . . fair and square.  The answer letter layout was a fine jumble too.  Fun cartoon.  I was always a big fan of “Night Court”.  Laundromat and Larroquette kind of go together.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
