Clue/Question: The tired dogs turned the couch into a – – –
Answer: SLEEPER SOFA
(I love, love, LOVE my dogs! But, I don’t allow them on the furniture. I know plenty of people who do though. No new clue words today, however all of the jumbles seem to be new. I actually thought that “teonf” was fairly tricky! I hope nobody tried for “asail”, because we know it’s lacking something! The answer letter layout was very nicely jumbled, but the cartoon made it an easy solve, for me. Sadly, my neighbor, Ed, had to put their dog to sleep yesterday. The mighty “Hunter” kept my street safe from landscapers and delivery people for 15 and 1/2 years. My daughter and I took turns, over the years, taking care of him whenever they went on vacation or had to go out of town for some reason. As a result, he said that Hunter never had to spend any time in a kennel. He was great pals with our first dog, Boone, but less so with Ginger. He’d had a bad experience with some German Shepherds some years back, and was always nervous with larger dogs. Wally didn’t scare him any. He was a sweet little guy, and we’ll miss his familiar bark. Time marches on. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
