Clue/Question: They would pilot the first Boeing 747 test flight now that they’d – – –
Answer: LANDED THE JOB
(Definitely not a gimme! Good pun though. I initially thought one of the three letter words was going to be JET, but then that meant that the other couldn’t be THE. Then the two DEs stood out, and I decided that the first word had to end in ED. So, that put me on the tarmac, so to speak! I guess our pilot characters must be Jack Waddell and Brien Wygle. Not sure who the boss-man is. Maybe ralis95 can help fill in the blanks. He’s been involved in things that fly since the Wright Brothers! Just kidding, boss! Fine cartoon though. All old favorite clue words, that were quick solves, for me. All four jumbles appear to be new though. Very challenging answer letter layout. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
