(Not for nothin’ – as we like to say in Brooklyn – but this seems like either a rerun, or a variation of a rerun.  The answer, that is, at least.  There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles appear to be new.  We have definitely seen “rawey” before.  The answer letter layout was a decent jumble.  It’s hard to hide the answer with those Ws and Ds.  Very cool cartoon.  I’m sure Jeff can supply us with the names of all the characters.  No doubt either some of Jeff’s pals and/or favorites.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(It has been a long while since we’ve seen a P. G. Wodehouse quote!  Very clever.  I see – and respect – the need for hunters of many animals.  But, certainly not all animals.  It takes a level of skill and guile, but referring to it as a sport is a bit of a stretch for me.  “Sportsmen” feel free to weigh in though!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
