“No great and enduring volume can ever be written on the flea, though many there be who have tried it.” — Herman Melville
(I thought it was PLEA! Meaning, when someone is asking for your work. Publishers usually have some kind of deadline, and sometimes they have to kind of nag the writer. Have “many” people really tried to write a great book about the flea??? What would you even title such a book? From Scratch? Our second Melville quote in just about a week, and it’s gotta be a weird one. LOL! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
I suspect he meant anything small and insignificant. Write about a whale!
I seldom do well with the figurative, hal. But, I thought I’d have a little fun with it anyway!

“From Scratch” is a great title for a book.
If I borrow it, I’ll send you a thank you note.
Just make sure it’s attached to a royalty check!!! — YUR 😉
