(A shining example of Jumble punditry!  Flash!  We even have another new clue word, in “chive”.  Hey, ralis95!  You have to update your world famous clue word database . . . again.  All of the jumbles appear to be new today.  The answer letter layout was a luminescent jumble today.  No glaring giveaways.  Cute cartoon.  It’s a little hard to recognize Thomas Edison, while reclined and snoring, but I bought it.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Clue/Question:  When it came to being a lead singer, Diana Ross was – – –

Image result for destiny's child

Answer:  SUPREME

(Aah, the old Motown sound!  That was back when R&B stood for Rhythm and Blues.  I don’t know what the kids – I’m in cranky old man mode today – think it stands for, but the stuff they call R&B today does not fit my definition of Rhythm and Blues.  I always felt a little bad for Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson.  It’s not easy being “and Co.”  And of course Diana Ross became known as a bit of a diva, leaving them in the lurch.  I think, overall, that Beyoncé handled her spinoff solo career a little bit better.  Maybe, she learned from history?  She’s known to be a bit of a diva as well, but she seems to have a much better relationship with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.  But, what do I know?  I’m more of an Alt-Rock kind of guy.

There was actually a new clue word on this day, in “rumor”.  Such a simple word, and yet here it stands as the latest addition to the world famous ralis95 clue word database.  The other three were old favorites.  All of the jumbles appear to be new though.  The answer letter layout was okie-dokes.  I don’t think too many of you pulled your hair out trying to figure out the answer.  Great cartoon.  I loved the gowns and the hair, and the way Flo and Mary are holding their hands.  Even the backdrop looks very 60-ish!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
