Answer: TOOK IT TO HEART
(My Cardiologist is always pushing this weight loss plan/scheme that his wife sells! My numbers and weight may not be ideal, but I’m actually in pretty good shape. Other than that, he’s a pretty decent sort. Not mega-arrogant, like so many physicians. Just a little arrogant. LOL! What? Clue words, and such? All right. Keep your shirt on.
THERE WERE NO NEW CLUE WORDS TODAY. THREE OF THE JUMBLES WERE NEW, WITH ONLY “SOKKI” HAVING BEEN USED PREVIOUSLY. THE ANSWER LETTER LAYOUT WAS JUST PEACHY KEEN. A WELL THOUGHT OUT JUMBLE. THE CARTOON WAS DOC STOCK.
Happy now? Soave. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Hello again! I am kind of a newcomer to this blog since my last comments. What are “clue words” as you mentioned? There’s lot of the negatives of these. Too lazy to dive deep into this blog.
Nothing negative, Carl. Either a Jumble clue word is “new” to the ralis95 clue word database, or it is one that has been used one or many times by the Jumble creators. Have you ever done the Jumble, Carl? I believe that it is carried in the LA Times.

Just found your great Jumble blog. Where is this Jumble database? Every search seems to lead back to entries here.
Playing Jotto last night ,a friend of mine claimed CALYX was too tough of a word, since it would never show up in a Jumble. I searched, but all I can find on this site is https://unclerave.wordpress.com/2012/page/51/
Any date for the use of CALYX as an answer, or confirmation it has not been used?
Thanks!
The Jumble database is a proprietary file created and maintained by one of the original blog followers, ralis95. He’s been maintaining the database for some time before this blog was started, in 2008. He sends out a read only copy, every few months, to David L. Hoyt, and one to myself. So, you are not about to find it online.
I just checked my copy, and CALYX is not on it. It’s definitely not the most common word, but I would say that it qualifies as a valid clue word. Maybe David L. Hoyt will see this comment and use it in a future Jumble. Then you can tell your friend that you were responsible for CALYX making it to the Jumble!
Thanks, Fritz!

Thanks for the information. Jumbling is not my hobby, but if there are newspapers that need un-jumbling, I would try to start solving them, then go online if anything stumps me.
