Actually, this one “threw me” for a while. We usually get UNKNOWN preceded by AUTHOR or SOURCE, so I was reluctant use it. And then, even folding in these letters, plus the obvious A at the beginning, there were a lot of gaps. Great picture of a Russian Blue.
I know what you mean, hal. The author being UNKNOWN was a bit of a sticking point for me too. It definitely didn’t help with the quote, as it often does. Which is the reason why I generally try to avoid the author, unless I’m having a tough time getting started. For some reason – because I’m not at all familiar with the quote – I had no trouble with the quote. Lots of As, Rs, Ss and Cs made it a relatively easy solve for me. Not like today’s! Today’s KILLED me! Even being 90 something % sure that the L was the A, it took me forever to figure it out! Some days are like that.
