(Not exactly the apex of puns . . . but let’s not belay the point. There are no new clue words today. ralis95 can stand down. Three of the jumbles came up as new, with “rodpo” having been used in the past. The answer letter layout was a buttress of jumble ingenuity. The cartoon’s approach traversed the artist’s capabilities very nicely. Thursday’s Jumble: SET FOOT IN IT, resulted in nearly 4500 queries! Well I’ll tell ya, Unc, I just found Thursday’s jumble difficult! I kept trying to FIT the word FIT into the solution. Shoulda known better! Thus never solved it, made me very humble. So bad I couldn’t even think of any questions to ask for help. Good thing I love all you guys. Now today, found it all quite simple, too easy in fact. Oh well, take care Unc.
I also did the FIT thing, along with trying to come up with all the two letter words given the clue letters.

WOW, climbed ALL the peaks. HAD PEAKED –oh my! I was going in so many different directions on this one without the benefit of any letters to take me t here.. I did end up with the answer. Most of the time it is just sitting right in front of me!
