Cryptoquote Spoiler – 04/03/17

(A true giant in the field of dance!  It’s hard to believe she died 26 years ago.  And, it’s hard to believe that this is the first of her quotes to be used in the Cryptoquote.  At least since I’ve been posting the spoilers.  Her influence on dance is sure to last for generations to come.  But, the silly thing that I will always remember is the Robin Williams scene in The Birdcage!  See below.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Jumble Spoiler – 04/03/17

Clue/Question:  The rabbit was dirty after digging in the garden and needed to – – –

Answer:  HOP IN THE SHOWER

(Very cute cartoon.  There are no new clue words today, although all of the jumbles did come up as new.  None of the jumbles were too tough, but I liked “wamedo” the best.  The clue word “floss” is one of those quasi-rare words that spells out in alphabetical order.  The answer letter layout was a dandy of a jumble.  Nothing obvious.  The rabbit – in mid-hop – was a little bit of a bonus clue.  Can anyone remember Bugs Bunny hopping in any of his cartoons?  No, he almost always walked.  Some of my greatest frames of reference come from Warner Bros cartoons.  I’ll probably never grow up!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
