(A fragrant pun, indeed!  Hints of clove and cinnamon too.  There are no new clue words today, and only two of the jumbles are coming up as new.  We’ve seen both “ahcov” and “curpes” before.  Fine job with the answer letter layout.  It was also a nice jumble.  The cartoon would make Washington Irving proud.  It’s putting me in the mood for some pumpkin pie, although it’s kinda the opposite season for it.  Be well and do good, friends.  Happy first day of Spring!)   —   YUR

(As I wait for last week’s foot of snow to melt away, I can certainly relate to this man’s statement.  And, just a week – or so – before it was pushing 70 degrees!  Moths were fluttering, trees were budding, and the peepers were peeping.  Not sure if they were able to re-hybernate, or if they simply died.  If they died it will probably mean more mosquitoes this year!  Oh, joy.  Happy first day of Spring, folks!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
