Visual Description: Magic guy.
MUDHI = HUMID, CCEKH = CHECK, TERMKA = MARKET, IDTULE = DILUTE — Giving us: HIDCERKTDIT
Clue/Question: The magician repaired his faulty prop, and fixing it – – –
Answer: DID THE TRICK
(Cute stinky pun. No new clue words, but all of the jumbles appear to be new. I had no trouble solving any of them. The answer letter layout was another nice jumble. It didn’t give anything away, but the answer came to me instantly anyway. Fun cartoon. I’m sure that I’m missing some great detail, in this reduced size cartoon I’m working with. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
Arrrgh! Could not & did not get dilute. The others were quick & easy, solved it b4 all jumbles figured out. Still love playing. Hope things are improving for you Unc. Be well.
Larger scale picture (via The Post Star online for example) shows the curtain says Mac King Comedy Magic Show and the magician himself is in Mac’s trademark plaid suit. Now that’s attention to detail.
Dilute tripped me up as well.
Thanks for the detail report, Anthony! I’m not up on my comedy magic, so I wasn’t sure if this was someone real, or just from Jeff’s imagination. Is the Post Star online available to everyone, or is it only for subscribers?

No need to be a subscriber. The paper is from the Lake George area of NY, far away from my home. Here is the link http://poststar.com/entertainment/puzzles-and-comics/. I just click on the Jumble and print it out. That and a cup of coffee starts the day off right.
Thanks, Anthony! I’ll check it out. — YUR
Beautiful, large scale Jumble!!! Thank you, Anthony. If this is far from your home how did you stumble upon such a great source? Spend some vacation time up there, or something?
— YUR 🙂
Google all the way, though you have to be persistent. Searching on daily jumble mostly gets you an “electronic” version to play online. Right now I know of only two newspapers that put a printable version online. The already mentioned Post Star and also Arkansas Online. Only the Post Star is Jumbo Jumble sized.
A note of thanks to you for this great blog. It’s a must read for me (after I solve the Jumble of course).
Glad to have you on board, Anthony! I really appreciate the kind words, and your great find!

Let’s not get too excited about free Jumble. I’ve got a kid heading to college.
LOL! I don’t think this is any skin off YOUR nose, Jeff! 😉 — YUR
Thanks Anthony. When I’m out of town and can’t get a paper, I’ll try your link.
Cute Jumble!! And DILUTE was a bugger! When you get it figured out, it’s like why did I think this was going to be some diabolical word I’d never figure out!!! Djilute…such a simple word to be so dastardly!! 🙂
