Jumble Spoiler – 02/25/17

Clue/Question:  The twins turning 80 didn’t want a party, just the – – – 

Answer:  SAME OLD, SAME OLD

(They just as likely – maybe even more so – could be playing Bridge.  Canasta just sounds like a card game that 80 somethings would play.  Any 80 somethings out there want to weigh in on this?  There were no new clue words today, and only two of the jumbles were new.  We’ve definitely seen “nalst” and “mursem” before.  The answer letter layout looked a little imposing at first, but it really didn’t take me long to see the answer.  A 14-letter answer, for a non-Sunday Jumble, is very impressive.  I can see some of you getting caught up in something more card related, for the answer.  The repetitive nature of the answer does play into the twin aspect.  Cute cartoon.  The one brother seems a bit more robust than his twin.  Maybe the littler one is suffering from osteoporosis.  He probably shouldn’t have smoked so much, and he should have drank more milk!  LOL.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

(One of our original American heroes!  But from this quote, and others, and from his pictures, I bet he was more than a little hard to take.  Macho and arrogant, and very ambitious.  Yeah, I don’t think we’d be best buds.  But, this appears to be the first JPJ quote to appear in the Cryptoquote, since I’ve been posting these spoilers.  So, guess we should salute that.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
