Clue/Question: She grew and harvested her own food because she was a – – –
Answer: PICKY EATER
(I guess if you pick your own you’re a . . . No new clue words, but all of the jumbles are coming up as new, today. The answer letter layout made for a nifty jumble. Nothing obvious in it. The cartoon is very detailed, with home grown strawberries and tomatoes. And, if you have the larger Jumble in your newspaper, you might be able to make out a sneaky little bunny in the lower right portion of the cartoon. Right above the 1/16. Cute! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. WordPress took away the older way of posting. No notice, or warning. Just a deal with it, take it or leave it kind of attitude. The old way worked perfectly, for me. I like change, when it’s for the better. As far as I can tell, at this point, it’s just different. I guess time will tell. — YUR
I get the Jumble from the Houston Chronicle’s web site. They have posted notice that their comics page (which includes the Jumble) will disappear from the site as of the start of February, and be available only to subscribers. I’m not about to subscribe to a Houston paper; the New York Times subscription is good enough for me. Are there any other sources for the hard-copy Jumble? I’ve seen it as a timed Java applet, but prefer the traditional visual file.
Missed the bunny Unc, and probably the actual pun. I was literally thinking of those “picky” eaters I know. I had not thought about her picking her foods off the vines.
Those are sure yumm looking tomatoes and strawberries! LL

This is where I go when I’m away from home. It’s good for Mon – Sat. Don’t think they carry the Sunday ones. — YUR
Didn’t notice the bunny either as I didn’t spend much time studying the cartoon. Had to set it aside for a time before getting back to it and solving it at the end.
What’s different with the new way of posting, UR? 8 seconds for me on this Jumble!
