Answer: FALLING PRICES
(Another case of an excellent answer letter layout, combined with my being a little off my game. It took me a while to see this one, again. And, this time my daughter and her boyfriend were already at work. At first I was certain that the first word was SPECIAL. But, I couldn’t do a thing with GRILFN. I think that helped me to see the ING in FALLING, and I finally got the pun. None of the clue words are new today, but three of the jumbles are new. We’ve seen “lirgl” before. I guess there is the free falling aspect of skydiving, but I always think about it as jumping out of an airplane. I did it once. It was a blast! First timers generally do it as a tandem jump. You need to have someone with experience on your back, so you don’t forget to do something important. Like pull the ripcord. Cute cartoon. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
I was pretty sure of FALLING, but I had to write out the letters, just to make sure. It looks like fun, but I’m not sure I could ever jump out the door of a (fully functioning) airplane or helicopter … And, it couldn’t be as much fun as Arthur Ashe had playing tennis!
Why do I feel better when good ole’ YUR has trouble solving? I too had to start w/”ing”, got falling then prices only took a minute. Some days my mind sees it, others not so much. Take care YUR!
I’ve always wanted to do the gliding thing behind a boat. That would be the closest i’d get to jumping out of a plane. I got the answer, but I was look for something along the lines of special pricing, and who knows what all. Then I had to regroup! Got it!!! LL
