Clue/Question: The tennis balls at the courts were – – –
Answer: SELF–SERVE
(Not bad, for a Monday. Very surprisingly, we have a new clue word today, in “flock”. Who would’ve thought that such a common word could have avoided the Jumble all this time? Our good friend, ralis95, will have to update his world famous clue word database once again! I hope he picked up on yesterday’s new word as well. The jumble “senlos” gave me pause, but I figured it out, and it has actually been used before. I was a bit impatient, and backed in to “gerbil”. No pun intended. The answer letter layout was swell, but even without the ERL I was able to figure out the answer. The great cartoon really made getting the answer pretty easy. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
I totally understand, UR. I had to gnaw on the fourth word for a few extra seconds, myself …
LOL!!! I can always count on you, hal. — YUR
I had to back into GERBIL as well, since it’s not an all that common word for me.
