Visual Description: All is good . . . at Slacker Central.
WPEST = SWEPT, RIWEP = WIPER, KIVONE = INVOKE, LAGTEN = TANGLE — Giving us: SWTWIRNOKANG
Clue/Question: Helen and Ed’s attempt to convince Dustin to get a job – – –
Answer: WASN’T WORKING
(And, neither is Dustin. Nor, is he soon to be at this rate. Cute pun. All of today’s clue words are old favorites. Three of the jumbles came up as new, with “riwep” having been used some time in the past. The answer letter layout made for a nifty jumble too. The cartoon is fun. My newspaper doesn’t carry Dustin, but this particular one is very reminiscent of another cartoon that my paper does carry. So as nobody gets in any legal trouble, I will keep the name of that cartoon on the DL. This is fun. I wonder what guest cartoonists are coming up next? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
DUSTIN is in our paper, but is fairly new in the last several years! We thoroughly enjoy it! Another excellent guest Jumbler.
I have a technical question. Does the guest Jumblers also provide the clue words? And if so, do they count toward our Guyz jumble word lists.
And speaking of Jumble word lists…how is RALIS?? And your mom?? LL
Good questions, LL. I don’t know for sure. I kind of assumed they did provide their own jumbles/clue words, but I could be wrong. I think David L. Hoyt kind of relies on ralis95’s clue word database, so I’d think that ralis95 would include any new clue words these guest Jumblers might come up with. So far, I don’t think they have given us any new clue words though.
Our old pal, ralis, is hanging in there. He’s no spring chicken, but I know he’s in good hands. We keep in touch. I’m sure he’d be glad to know you were asking about him.

Thanks Unc. I appreciate the update. LL
Howdy! The Guest Jumblers, this year, put the puzzle words into David’s hands. That’s not what they do. Many of them panic when I ask them to draw the Jumble. They think they have to do it all! Jeff Keane, Jim Davis, Bill Amend and I think Jim Borgman, provided the words for the puzzles. They are all big Jumble fans.
Very cool, Jeff! There ya go, LindaLee. You have your answer. (Jeff saved me the trouble of having to email him.)

Wow! Great details. This one went very smoothly for me. 8 seconds. Cute pun.
Outstanding … thanks for the insight, Jumble Jeff. And thanks as always for the forum, UR!
Thank you Jeff!! I appreciate the explanation. Looking forward to what we have in store tomorrow!!! LL
