(No toughness progression this week! I thought yesterday’s Jumble was much more challenging. I was able to figure out the answer just by looking at the answer letter layout, and glancing at the cartoon. I didn’t even need to read the clue/question. Some puzzles just come to you instantly, I guess. There were no new clue words today, but all of the jumbles came up as new. I thought that “unsoic” was the best of them. Nothing wrong with the answer letter layout. It’s just that 2 four letter word answers aren’t usually all that tough a solve. The cartoon is a lot of fun though. If you have the reduced sized Jumble you might not be able to make out the name of the shop. It’s: I’m Watching You! Hey! Do you think Jeff has a twin brother? Arrgh… got first 3 jumbles instantly. Absolutely could not get cousin! Able to solve anyway so after I got the answer I went to you to find cousin. Oh well, can’t win em all, eh? A true challenge for me today. See you again!
Yes, today’s was easier than Monday’s. COUSIN was the toughest word for me.
The final answer was real easy, but among the clue words, only TANGY was instant. EXERT gave me a fair bit of trouble (I kept thinking EXTER), as did COUSIN. MUMBLE took a couple of seconds as well.
