Visual Description: Make Way For Ducklings!
OGUCH = COUGH, NKRAD = DRANK, EYNWIR = WINERY, PANYSP = SNAPPY — Giving us: COUDKWIRSNA
Clue/Question: The mallards were ready to cross the road, now that they had their – – –
Answer: DUCKS IN A ROW
(Very cute! No new clue words, but three of the jumbles came up as new today. We’ve seen “nkrad” in the past. The answer letter layout was a fine jumble as well. Not a real challenging Jumble, but it has a real cute cartoon. Be well and do good, friends. Happy Rosh Hashanah to all of our Jewish readers!) — YUR

Good one today. I liked the cartoon, and the answer was easy. Though I had to pause on WINERY and SNAPPY.
Monday morning blues … SNAPPY gave me some trouble, but the final answer took nearly half a minute! I knew the middle words were IN A or ON A, but I typed in WORKS for the first word. The left over letters were CUD, which made no sense. I don’t know what it was, maybe the letters DUC, but I somehow finally got clued in to DUCKS, and then the pun dawned on me. One look at the cartoon and I probably would have got the answer much sooner, but that is how it goes for someone who reads the words first …
PS: espeaker, you entitled one, would you like to take over the blog from UR?
I kind of doubt that espeaker reads the comments, Vijay. But, thanks anyways! Years ago, when I was posting the spoilers in the early morning – around 8:00, or so – I’d get complaints if I posted any later than 10:30 AM! Posts like his don’t bother me. At least he has a little passion. LOL!

I don’t stop by until later on in the evening. Just got into that routine as I don’t do the puzzle right away. Sometimes it takes me a couple of sessions in a day to complete; unless I get it all in one shot, I’ll get back to it in the afternoon, or early evening. Then I come here to see how my compadres are doing/did. 😀

Dear espeaker, if I wanted to be a smarty pants, I would quote the revered Sheldon Cooper- ‘Would you like some aloe vera? You just got burned’. (yay Vijay!) =) But my mom raised me to be polite and always find the positive. Please have some caffeine or chocolate or whatever to cheer you up, life is too short to be a grump-a-saurus!
Nice one, Jenn. 🙂 Glad you aren’t bothered by these nonsense posts, UR.
