Jumble Spoiler – 08/04/16

Visual Description:  Cooking with gas.

DAHYN  =  HANDY,  VLIAA  =  AVAIL,  PGRINS  =  SPRING,  ROLLFA  =  FLORAL   —   Giving us:  HNAILSPNFA

Clue/Question:  They hoped the chef would be a long-term hit, not just a – – –

Answer:  FLASH IN THE PAN

(Great idiom-pun!  No new clue words today, however all of the jumbles came up as new.  I had the most trouble getting “avail” and “floral”.  The answer letter layout was a great jumble.  Nothing given away.  I solved this earlier, but lost the newspaper.  So, I had to print it off of Arkansas Online.  I lost some of the cartoon’s detail.  But, it looks like a good cartoon.  B well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Good one today. I had a Vnat type time, everything just came up right away. As opposed to yesterday’s which was an epic fail for me…. 😀

AVAIL and FLORAL were the hard ones for me too, UR. They are both in my “tougher words” list. I got the final answer immediately. 21 seconds, not good enough to be a damid level time. 🙂
