Answer:  A LOT OF DEBRIE

(This pun might have to go in the dictionary as THE definition of a stinky pun!  It’s so bad . . . that it’s great!  All of the jumbles came up as new today.  And again, surprisingly, we have a new clue word, in “freeze”.  The word freezer is already in the ralis95 clue word database, but not “freeze”.  So, our buddy is going to have to add yet another word to his ever growing list.  I actually had some difficulty in getting “faucet”.  I tried to back into it, but without the three letters, F A & T, I couldn’t solve the Jumble.  Fortunately, with my first attempt at writing it out – UFACET – I was able to see “faucet”.  The cartoon is priceless.  The gendarme looks like Louie, from Casablanca, and the other guy looks like Inspector Clouseau, from the Pink Panther.  Both great movies!  Bogie and Sellers are unforgettable.  Very clever Jumble.  I wouldn’t be surprised if some of you weren’t stumped today.  I’ve never been a big fan of those gooey, stinky cheeses, but to each their own.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I definitely like the WINE-N-CHEESE theme Jeff & Dave are cultivating this weekend …

This was a Hall of Fame, hearty laugh-out-loud stinky pun!

Stumped again today. FAUCET was the big roadblock. And the answer letters didn’t pop out right for me. I figured one of the pun words had to do with cheese; Brie came to mind as well as the A and OF, but beyond that…..

FAUCET was in my “toughest words” list but only took a few seconds this time, so it has been downgraded to the “tough words” list. 🙂 For the final answer, I immediately got “A LOT OF”. From the remaining letters, BRIE stood out and then DE-BRIE followed. Very nice!

It’s amazing how difficult it was to dig out “faucet” !
It defies the usual letter patterns.

I thought so too. A really good jumble can stump me, even if I’ve seen the clue word before!
