Answer:  PUNDERSTUDY

(A great, stinky pun!  A real groaner!  No new clue words, but three of the jumbles came up as new.  We’ve seen “buryg” before.  I thought “neyolp” was a nifty jumble.  It took me a few seconds to get that one.  The answer letter layout was a beautiful jumble, that did not give anything away, in my opinion.  In the cartoon, the word guy seems a little peeved.  Why does the “artist” get all the best puns???  LOL!  I hope the guys treat their apprentice better than old E.B. did!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Nice pun! I had no trouble with any of the words. For the final answer, I knew that PUN had to be part of it. The word UNDER then occurred to me and then UNDERSTUDY, and which point there was a P left. Ergo, PUNDERSTUDY.
