Answer:  REEL ‘EM IN

(Oooh!  Bright and shiny, with lights and bells, and other cool sounds!  And, an outside chance that you could possibly, maybe, come out ahead!  Do you know what the casino manager is really saying?  He’s saying:  Do you smell that?  It’s desperation, son.  Nothing else in the world smells like that.  I love the smell of desperation in the morning . . . afternoon, evening and night – they can’t tell what time it is, because there are no windows or clocks.  It smells like victory . . . for us!

No new clue words today.  However, all of the jumbles did come up as new.  Great jumbles!  And the answer letter layout was the best jumble of all.  Nothing given away . . . at all.  And, I wouldn’t be surprised if today’s pun escaped some of you.  The apostrophe and two-letter box was surely a big help, but the fishing aspect had to be a little abstract to some of you.  Top-notch cartoon, featuring cameos from our two pals and their wives.  The boss-man looks a little like Steve Wynn!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
