Answer: ILL WILL
(Reminds me of an episode of All In The Family, when Archie goes to the hospital. He’s in a semi-private room, and he doesn’t realize that the French speaking gentleman on the other side of the curtain is black. Archie started off the show as a huge bigot, but over the years he mellowed out quite a bit. Norman Lear did a great job of showing that most bigotry is based on ignorance. All In The Family was probably the greatest ground breaking show in the history of television. It woke up a lot of the country.
No new clue words today, but some interesting ones. The jumble “glico” has been used before, but the other three came up as new. I liked the jumbles for “asylum” and “influx”. Not much Hoyt could do with the answer letter layout, with only three distinct letters. I don’t think many of you had any trouble solving today’s answer, but you never know. Excellent cartoon. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Super easy. It still took me 8 seconds, longer than the 6 second solve a couple of days ago, although this may have been even easier. Either certain words (combination of letters) take me longer to type or the answer letters took longer to appear today (inconsistent refresh rate). Issues you won’t have solving on a piece of paper. 🙂
LOGIC gave me a bit of a problem because the first word I came up with was GOLIC. As in Mike and Bob Golic, the brothers who played in the NFL. Mike has a radio show on ESPN so that kept it in the forefront but I knew we don’t use names here. 😀
