Answer:  IN FAVOR OF IT

(I got the answer right away, but I didn’t get the pun immediately.  The one sister was looking for a courtesy from the other, but Sis 2 was not feeling very accommodating.  Looks like Sis 1 should have been more responsible the last time around.

No new clue words today, but three of the jumbles did come up as new.  They’ve used “forey” before.  Some of the clue words were not the most common words, so I can see how some of you might have had a little difficulty with them.  The answer letter layout was a nifty jumble.  Fun cartoon.  Looks like a typical teenage girl’s bedroom.  I guess Jeff would know.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I had some trouble with FOYER, but not as much as I’ve had in the past. This word has moved from the “toughest words” list to “tougher words”. I too got the final answer right away, and got the pun after the fact. Very nice!

I had the same experience, UR. The solution was pretty obvious, but the pun (she wasn’t in FAVOR of doing her sister a FAVOR) took a moment to sink in. Another set of nice, easy clue words for the summer heat.

I got the answer right away, as soon as I got VOUCH. FOYER was a bit harder and FINITE took a second look, but it went quickly.

Of all the words, and would you believe, NEATLY got me stuck! FOYER took a second try, same with FINITE, But VOUCH was a breeze.
