Cryptoquote Spoiler – 06/02/16

When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.”   —   Audre Lorde

(I know this is supposed to be an empowering kind of quote, but it also applies to serial killers and genocidal maniacs.  Too many visions are very scary.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

What you said is so true, UR, especially in light of the UCLA tragedy. My friend was Bill’s classmate!

Too true, UR. Not only serial killers, but politicians too, can suppress feelings of fear before using their strength. And yet, doing the daily Cryp is educational. I’d never heard of Ms. Lorde before, and now I have. And, maybe next time, I won’t try to turn her into ANDRE.

Was Bill the professor, or the student? I never followed up after the initial news story. — YUR

Thanks, Vijay. I read an article in the paper this morning about it. Tragic waste!
