Clue/Question: He took the double. Maybe he could have tripled, but he didn’t want to – – –
Answer: FIND OUT
(How are the Tigers doing this year? Do they have a shot at the playoffs. I know it’s early, but I mainly pay attention to the National League. But, I do keep tabs on the American League East. As a long suffering Mets fan – mainly due to the near constant harangue of obnoxious Yankee fans – I take a fair amount of pleasure seeing the Yanks flounder. I really don’t begrudge the players. There are some who I actually like. C.C. Sabathia, for one. It’s the media bias, and the uglier Yankee fans that always irk me. There are some Yankee fans who aren’t arrogant jerks, but – as usual – the jerks really seem to stand out.
Who would’ve thought that they had never used the clue word “width” before??? Nine times out of ten, it’s going to be a simple, unassuming word. If ralis95 isn’t on another whirlwind tour of some exotic land he’ll have to update his world famous clue word database for this word. All of today’s jumbles are coming up as new. And, the answer letter layout was another dandy jumble. I’m a sucker for sports cartoons, especially baseball. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
