We are human and we make mistakes, but learning from them is what makes the difference.”   —   Ameesha Patel

(Our very first Ameesha Patel quote, since I’ve been posting these spoilers.  I kind of think her newness is why we got this well-worn, re-hashed quote.  It wasn’t very difficult to solve, but if you tend to rely on the author’s name as a way of solving these, I can see how one might struggle to get it.  It’s the second one this week that started with We!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  CARTUNEISTS

(I think there was kind of a double omission/misdirection going on with today’s Jumble.  They used “creators”, instead of artists, in the clue/question, because they didn’t want to give away the ISTS portion of the answer.  And of course, they had to go with “comic strip” over cartoon.  Initially, I bit on the “creator” aspect, and was trying to use the words ART or ARTIST.  It didn’t take me long to change horses though.  From ARTIST I picked up on the ISTS, and that they were singing in a CAR.  That’s when the pun sank in!  For me, this was a little more difficult than yesterdays.  How about you guys?

All the clue words were old favorites, but all the jumbles came up as new.  I saw “abate” and “scout” immediately, but I had to think a few seconds on both “square” and “intent”!  The answer letter layout was another masterful jumble.  Nothing about it gave anything away.  Very personal, and fun cartoon.  Hopefully, Jeff will grace us with the who’s who!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
