If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the habit in little matters.  Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude.”   —   Colin Powell

(I thought maybe we had seen a Colin Powell quote before, but his name did not come up in my Tags.  Either I forgot to do so, or this is the first quote from him, since I’ve been posting the spoilers.  It’s a great quote.  We all should strive to do our best, in all we do.  Not everyone will notice it in the small things, but you’ll know.  This attitude will carry over to your bigger functions.  Be well . . . do your best, and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  DIRTY TRICKS

(I’ve finally gone off my rocker!  Or, have I???  Jeff’s stage magician looks remarkably like Lin-Manuel Miranda, who stars as Alexander Hamilton, in Hamilton, on Broadway.  And the audience magician could pass for a young Snape, the brooding dark magic creepy dude in the Harry Potter stories/films.  I think his character ends up other than his outward appearance, as you reach the end of the tale.  But, the Snape most of us remember was very capable of dirty tricks.

There were no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles came up as new.  They’ve used “catrt” in the past.  All of them were fun.  The answer letter layout was another great jumble, that didn’t give anything away.  The cartoon and the clue/question set up the whole thing very nicely.  It took me no time to figure out the answer.  The cartoon was pretty amusing.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  All the photos of Lin-Manuel Miranda provided by Zemanta, are “owned” by Getty Images, and I will NOT consent to their terms of use.  But, trust me.  He rocks the ponytail, beard and expressive eyebrows.      YUR
