(Great pun, for a great card game!  I haven’t played Uno in quite a while, but it’s a fun game.  It’s a great family game, but it’s also fun just for the adults.  There is another card game, that’s very similar, by the same company I believe, but I don’t remember the name.  Maybe, one of you guys know what I’m talking about.

No new clue words today, but three of the jumbles came up as new.  We have seen “radug” in the past.  I thought “nicdda” was a great jumble for “candid”.  The answer letter layout was beautifully cryptic.  I quickly figured the second word had to be CARDS, but it took me a couple of seconds to see DRAWING in RAGNDWI.  But, the word “artist”, in the clue/question, quickly lit the fuse, and . . . boom!  There we were!  Jeff is – once again – promoting WILCO.  “I don’t care anymore.”  The lady – his sister? – is acknowledging the 30th anniversary of Ferris Bueller‘s Day Off.  The one boy is rockin’ a Cubs shirt/jersey, and the other is acknowledging the career of Kobe Bryant.  All worthy appreciations!  The toddler girl just seems happy that she’s getting to play the game.  A very nice jumble.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

    What is the answer?

SWIVEL took me a second. For the final answer, I initially thought that the first word was CARDING. I didn’t even type it, though, because I immediately realized that the second words was CARDS. At the same time, I figured out that the answer was probably DRAWING CARDS, and it fit (the online version “accepts” the answer if it is right), even though I didn’t what the phrase meant. I understood the pun after Googling for the meaning.

Sorry, Uncle, that Kris Bryant, of the Cubs. Those are my nephews and niece, playing cards with my daughter. I have no love for Kobe.

I should have realized that by the jersey number! — YUR

I asked my hubby who #17 was on the Cubs, and he immediately said ‘Kris Bryant’. Go Cubs! …PS, loved the Ferris Bueller reference!

I saw the #17, but didn’t notice anything Cubs related on that shirt/jersey. I only noticed the other boy had the Cubs “C”, jenn. — YUR

Oh, I only figured #17 was someone from the Cubs because of ‘Ferris Bueller’ , (movie in Chicago, of course), on the one t-shirt, and the Cubs insignia on the other kiddo’s shirt. No sports brilliance on my end. =) Have a sunny day, all!

I was only seeing three separate things. Sometimes, all those pesky trees get in the way of the forest! — YUR 😉
