Answer:  GO WITH THE FLOW

(Fun little pun!  Tubing is a lot of fun!  It’s the much more sedate version of white water rafting.  No new clue words today, and this was verified by THE very latest edition of the ralis95 clue word database.  It arrived in my email yesterday afternoon.  We’re up to 3123 words!  Three of the jumbles are new though.  We’ve definitely seen “rawef” before.  It took me a few seconds to see “thorny”, so for me that was the toughest one.  The answer letter layout was a masterpiece of a jumble, as it gave nothing away.  The cartoon was a lot of fun, and it brought back mostly good memories.  I always had a great time, but always ended up with a fairly bad sunburn.  I’d put sunblock on, but with all the water it would only last just so long.  And, with the drinking of beer, you kind of forget to reapply it.  Tubing without beer, you say???  Don’t be ridiculous!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

I spun my wheels on THORNY as well, not sure why. I just didn’t see it the first time through.

WAFER took a few moments for me to unjumble. Otherwise, I got the rest of the jumbles and the final answer right away 🙂

WAFER took me a couple of seconds too! The final answer (which is a very nice pun) took me a little bit of thought as well. I first figured out GO WITH THE and FLOW followed from the remaining letters.
