Visual Description: Hen-house hysteria.
TLAME = METAL, TOHUM = MOUTH, BITBAR = RABBIT, LINDAS = ISLAND — Giving us: MELMHAITISD
Clue/Question: The hen couldn’t find her eggs after she – – –
Answer: MISLAID THEM
(Classic pun! No new clue words, but all of today’s jumble came up as new. I liked the ones for “mouth” and “island” the best. Dandy answer letter layout. Nothing given away. Cute Warner Bros-esque cartoon. Where’s Foghorn? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

Not my finest day. Got the four words instantly and figured out right away that the second word of the final answer was THEM, and yet it took me 30 seconds or so to get MISLAID. I was just staring at MLAIISD for the longest time. Finally, it struck me that LAID could be a part of the first word. Still, I typed in LAIDISM first, knowing full well that wasn’t a real word. Then, it occurred to me – MISLAID. Duh! Great pun, though, as UR said.
I could’ve done a bit better. I got the first three words instantly but it took me a bit of time to get LINDAS. For a second I thought the final answer was MISPLACED THEM but there was no pun to that and it didn’t fit. A few seconds afterwards I got the pun.
P.S Great pun indeed! 🙂
