Answer:  GET UP AND ATOM

(I promise not to challenge you dear readers today!  Apparently, I was a bit too intimidating yesterday.  Although the cartoon looks to be original, the answer definitely rings a bell.  Regardless, it’s still a good pun.  There are no new clue words today, but two of the jumbles have come up as new.  We have seen “gautoe” and “narpyt” in the past.  Welcome letter groupings in the clue words!  Makes my job that much easier.  The answer letter layout was super, but you just knew the first two words were going to be GET UP.  And, from OMADANT it was easy to get AND ATOM, and the pun.  Somehow, Tuesday became the busiest day for Uncle Rave’s Wordy Weblog, and the combination of Tuesday and Wednesday made for the busiest two days in the blog’s history!  It seems that both the jumbles for purser and hectic were pretty challenging, along with the final answer, of course.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor.”   —   Elon Musk

(Our first Elon Musk quote!  Possibly the greatest entrepreneur of all time.  And, this guy is still just 44 years old.  It’s remarkable what he has accomplished so far, and what he is on the cusp of accomplishing.  He’s a bit of a gambler, but a very calculating and knowledgeable gambler.  His gambles are not so much in will it work.  His gambles are more in going up against the entrenched systems, that have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo.  He’s a man of great vision, who places a higher emphasis on progress over mere profit.  I don’t know if I believe in “fate”, but he seems to have come along at just the right time in human history.  If he had been born, and started out, 10 – 15 years earlier he might not be where he is today.  He was tailor-made for this internet era, and he is doing so much to change the world, for the better.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
