“My mother loved children – she would have given anything if I’d been one.” — Groucho Marx
English: Publicity photo of Dick Smothers (Chico), Tom Smothers (Harpo), and Bobby Darin (Groucho) as the Marx Brothers on the Dean Martin Show. This was the beginning of Darin’s having his own television program. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
(I’m sure Groucho was born a smart-mouthed, middle aged, wise guy! He might have looked like a baby, but it was probably like that Our Gang episode, where Stymie figured out: Dey ain’t no babies. Dey’re fidgets! The Marx Brother’s movies and the Our Gang/Little Rascals shorts were the funniest things I’ve probably ever watched. Although, The Birdcage, with Robin Williams and Nathan Lane, was probably the funniest modern era movie I’ve ever watched. I laughed so hard I cried. Laughter is definitely the best medicine. I feel so cleansed after a real good laugh. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
