Sometimes we need a little reminder, that we’re not as smart as we think we are. I’m getting nowhere with today’s Cryptoquote. Sorry to disappoint you, friends. I’ll try again later. — YUR
Okay. Here we go.
“The arts and sciences are avatars of human creativity.” — Mae Jemison
(Now that I’ve done it, I find it hard to explain why I had so much difficulty with it. Just one of those days, I guess. Maybe, if I knew who Mae Jemison was/is . . . Nice quote! Thanks for the comments and clues. I did – finally – get it, on my own . . . after going to a pencil. I shouldn’t be so proud. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR

It took alot of white out but I finally got it.
I had trouble with this one too but finally figured it out.
Think of an African-American female astronaut. Hope that helps!
Ron
I didn’t have any problems with this one. As a hint: there is a THE in it.
Art
It was not intuitive. AVATARS seemed farfetched, but it was right.
After Kelly and Bob, and whoever said it took a lot of white-out, I took another shot, using a pencil – with a good eraser – and got everything but the first letter of the last name. By process of elimination I figured it was either G or J. I Googled the quote and saw Jemison. I saw hal, Art and Ron’s comments when I came to edit this post. It is definitely not a gimme, but I shouldn’t have had this much trouble with it. I need to go work out. And then maybe have a few beers.

PS. Besides being an astronaut . . . the girl is cute!
