(Because he was impatient???  From my point of view, the doctor is the rude one.  It might be a funny bit when the patient tells the doctor:  “It hurts when I do this.”  And the doctor replies:  “Then don’t do that.”  Many thanks to Henny Youngman.  But, when you have a conditional pain, you want a medical diagnosis, and some kind of recommendation.  Muscle relaxants, pain medication, physical therapy/exercises, or – God forbid – surgery.  Not some cantankerous bull dookie.  And, I got a feeling there might be some complaints about today’s answer, just like yesterday’s.

There were no new clue words today.  No, they were all tried and true clue words.  But, all of the jumbles came up as new.  I didn’t have a problem with any of them though.  The answer letter layout was a wonderful jumble, although you can kind of see the word OUT in it.  Switching the order of the clue words could’ve avoided this.  The doctor looks a little like Walter Matthau.  I definitely think our patient can do better.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Loved the pic of Matthau in Charade, one of my favs. They say it’s the best Hitchcock movie he never made. Cheers.

Now THAT’S a great pun! Loved today’s final answer. CUSTOM gave me a lot of trouble, as it has in the past. The final answer also took me some time, but I really liked the clue, the cartoon and the pun itself.

Unc, I so agree. When I first read through the jumbler my thought was that I’d drop that doc in i mini-second! Then the jumbler indicated the patient was rude. Oy! But, it was a good pun, either way! 🙂 LL
