Answer:  SLAM DUNK

(Just in time for today’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Game!  Neither team has a Michigan jersey.  Nor a Syracuse.  No new clue words today.  Although, we must have seen “lawman” sometime since ralis95 came out with his January version of his clue word database, because the jumble “nawmal” came up as being used.  We’ve also seen “apoitu” before.  The answer letter layout was great.  But, it’s kind of hard to hide a pretty obvious answer.  Fine cartoon.  May the best playing team win tonight!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

  1. I didn’t know that LAWMAN was a word (is it a compound word?), but that was the only sensible word I could make out of those letters. UTOPIA took me a second or two as well. A little bit of thought was required for the final answer too. All in all, fairly easy solve.
