Clue/Question: The home improvement show became so popular because it was able to – – –
Pre-Answer: 3 Words – (5-letters) (2-leters) (8-letters)
Answer: BUILD AN AUDIENCE
(Oh, yeah. These guys are going to get a lot done, with a large flat screen TV taking up the entire work bench! They’ll probably take turns making caveman grunts, a la Tim Allen, while they watch the pros actually build something. This was in reality a fairly tough Sunday Jumble. There were no new clue words, but 5 of the jumbles came up as new. The only one I can confirm that we’ve seen before is “tacili”, and still it gave me some trouble. The other one that gave me a little hassle was “ombyed”. I didn’t have to back into either of them. I just skipped over them after a bit, and then came back and gottem. The answer letter layout was pretty nifty. I liked how the word NAIL stands out. Possibly a bit of purposeful misdirection? I settled on AN as the second word right away, then just saw AUDIENCE. The remaining DBLIU gave me BUILD . . . and the pun! Tim and Al are looking good, in Jeff’s cartoon. Be well and do goo, friends.) — YUR
PS. Congrats to North Carolina and Villanova on their big wins yesterday! They’re going on to the Big Game, Monday night. Should be a great game. — YUR

Hey, Vijay. Been away for a while? It looks like you got caught up though. — YUR
Yes UR. Am visiting family in India, hence the irregularity …
I’d love to visit there some day. I do a pretty good Indian accent. It might be a little too Apu (The Simpsons), and I think I offended some (cold) call center people by answering the phone with it. Now they call the house 3 or 4 times a day looking for George Kinkle, and they refuse to take me off their call lists. They change the telephone numbers constantly, so blocking doesn’t do any good. Most of the things they’re calling for are sales/scams. Very annoying, my friend. — YUR
Vijay, are you keeping a chart of your times! It takes me longer than that to even look at the jumbled letters! Woot!
