Clue/Question: When they printed the cartoon upside down on April Fool’s Day, some people – – –
Answer: FLIPPED
(Very cute! I bet they had to send very specific instructions to all of the newspapers. No new clue words today, however all of the jumbles came up as new. It took me a few good looks before I was able to see “wealth”. The story of my life? The answer letter layout even tripped me up for a few seconds. The cartoon was fun. And, even though I’m adept at reading upside down, I did turn the paper over to read their dialog. My farsightedness seems to be getting worse. As fun as today’s was, I don’t think it will draw anywhere near the queries of yesterday’s Jumble. A lot of people had trouble with “osprey” and “exert”, and the final answer. Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
