Visual Description: Tarantino’s dream.
REETX = EXERT, ANKET = TAKEN, PROYES = OSPREY, WERTOL = TROWEL — Giving us: EETAESRTEL
Clue/Question: The collector of classic films owned – – –
Answer: “REEL“ ESTATE
(This is a good, stinky pun! And, an overall great Jumble. We have two new clue words today. Yes, our dear friend, ralis95, will have to update his world famous clue word database to include the words “osprey” and “trowel”. The jumble “anket” seems to be new as well. We’ve definitely seen “reetx” before. The answer letter layout was another great jumble, that gave nothing away. Seeing the old film canisters, and the reel to reel film projector, clued me into the first word being REEL. The remaining letters quickly gave me ESTATE, and I got the pun. The rich guy looks like a generic old rich guy, but the other guy looks like Quentin Tarantino, to me. What do you guys think? Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Still no Zemanta. Looks like I need to alert them of the situation. — YUR
I didn’t know if OSPREY and TROWEL were making their Jumble débuts, but they definitely gave me a moment’s pause. Especially since my first thought was of a dumbed-down word for unpoetic, “PROSEY.” Gotta hand it to the Jumble crew!
EXERT gave me fits. For some reason I just couldn’t see it. I think this is the first 5 letter word that I had to use the unjumble on. I was sort of dismayed when I saw the answer.
OSPREY took me around 30 seconds to figure out. I guessed (correctly) that the first word of the final answer was REEL. Unscrambling the remaining letters then easily gave ESTATE.
