(A lovely, historical and geographical pun!  Magellan was a pretty crafty dude.  He gets credit for being the first to circumnavigate the globe, despite being killed by my in-laws ancestors!  Well, at least his ship and some of his crew made it back home.  We have no new clue words today, but three of the jumbles are coming up as new.  We’ve definitely seen “bihta” before.  I really liked the jumble for “putrid”, and I just love the word.  It has disgust built right into it!  The answer letter layout was masterful.  It gave nothing away.  I think you have to be a bit of a history – and maybe geography – buff to get and appreciate today’s Jumble.  Cool drawing too.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

America is not a melting pot.  It is a sizzling cauldron.”   —   Barbara Ann Mikulski

(Washington (CNN) Even before Clinton declared her presidential bid earlier this year, more than 60% of Democratic senators had already endorsed her run.”  Of course Barbara was one of them.  This is from an article way back in early November, 2015!  At this time very few had any idea that Bernie Sanders would pose this strong an opposition.  The corporate media all but anointed her the Democratic nominee way back then, and they have bent over backwards to trumpet even her smallest victory, while minimizing and downplaying every Sanders victory.  They know who butters their bread.  They’re also very careful in not showing each of those two candidates’ rallies.  Hillary can barely fill a ballroom, while Bernie is filling stadiums.  There have been numerous voting irregularities in three states – MA, OH, AZ – that Clinton has “won”, but the Sanders camp chooses not to whine about it.  I wonder how many of those 60% are reconsidering their earlier endorsement?  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR
