Whether you jump off a cliff or drive off a cliff, you’re still off a cliff.”   —   Sen. Lindsey Graham

(Thank you, Captain . . . er Colonel Obvious!  Most likely said in opposition to some budget proposal . . . that was not “Defense” related.  A lot of people think that if you’re FOR cuts to the Defense portion of any budget, you must be against the troops.  As though all the Defense dollars go to military pay, or something.  Ask any rank and file military person about that!  But of course, Defense spending IS a huge factor to his home state!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

Answer:  UP AND ADD-‘EM

(Great pun!  Of course, the equations on the board were the BIG clue!  We have a brand new clue word today, in “carafe”.  Isn’t “farcea” one of the new prescription meds advertised on television?  It was the one jumble that I had to hesitate on, although I really liked “gelapu” too.  They were the only new jumbles.  Looks like our buddy, ralis95, has another word to add to his clue word database!  The answer letter layout was a dandy.  I liked the way all the consonants came first, then all the vowels.  I think that’s the way some of you write out the answer letters anyway.  Right?  The cartoon is just a little strange.  Poor little Billy looks dead, to me!  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

PS.  I have no idea why Zemanta gave me comet photos and these “Related Articles”, but WordPress is jumping around too much today for me to bother to try to refine the “Gallery”.  comets are cool though!      YUR
