Answer:  COUGHEE SHOP

(This would be a really stinky pun, except that the smell of fresh ground coffee is just so intoxicating!  I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again, I rarely go to these kind of coffee shops.  They’re usually over-priced, and the coffee generally taste burnt!  These type of quotation mark Jumbles are often difficult for a lot of you guys, but I’m sure most of the regulars got the answer fairly quickly.  There were no new clue words today, and the first two jumbles have been used before, but the two six-letter jumbles appear to be new.  The answer letter layout was masterful today.  A first class jumble!  And, the cartoon does a good job of showing a bunch of sad sack sickos.  Lots of queries for yesterday’s Jumble!  I think a lot of people had trouble with “eureka”, and then the final answer, “concentrated”.  Be well and do good, friends.)   —   YUR

You’ve probably got a point about CONCENTRATED, UR. Frozen orange juice must be unfamiliar to some people. Like you, I haven’t bought a can of it in a dog’s age. It has a distinctive flavor and is pretty good, unless it thaws before you mix it up, and in that event it tastes pretty sour. The frozen lime juice is still good for adult beverages.

Today’s words were easy, but for the final answer, for some reason, my first thought was that the first part of the first word was HOCUS. No rhyme for reason for that. Anyway, I couldn’t get anything sensible for the rest of the answer. Then, the solution dawned on me. Great pun!

I had trouble with the last two words. No idea why; I spent a lot of time on those. The answer took a bit of thought; the quotes told me it was going to be some sort of pun. I was trying to come up with other words for cafe for the second word, went down a weird path, then came back once coffee came to mind.

It looks like a few of you had some trouble with today’s Jumble. I guess COUGH-EE wasn’t all that obvious. — YUR
