“If you choose to live outside the law, you must obey the law more stringently than anyone.” — Bob Dylan
(Can’t afford to – unnecessarily – draw attention to yourself. The average Joe can afford to get away with minor infractions, from time to time. But, if Johnny Law has their eye on you, you have to mind your Ps and Qs! Be well and do good, friends.) — YUR
PS. Apparently, my blogging here on WordPress just passed an 8th year anniversary, yesterday. How ’bout that? — YUR

Congrats on your blogging anniversary. Coincidentally, I’ve received a similar notification, so we’re kind of pals on that too. Here’s to a very original and entertaining blog. Your readers are certainly lucky to enjoy your never boring challenging and never boring posts. Long live the Uncle! Cheers
Thanks, Wes! It’s kind of an addiction, and a chore, to posts these. Not the great blog I envisioned it to be, but great regulars like you make it worthwhile. It would be nice if I could make money from it! They had a deal with Google Adsense for a while, but they terminated it, without notification. WordPress is making money off of us though, with the ads that they throw up. I might end up giving this all up. Sometimes it just doesn’t seem worth the time and effort.
How long have you been at it?

no, no, no, no, a thousand times no, you mustn’t give up your blog, UA! A day without your Jumble Spoiler/Cryptoquote/blog would be like a day without sunshine…(please note the perfect tie-in with today’s Jumble, brought to you by the Florida Citrus Commission!) =) It’s a huge commitment you’ve made, spoiling us every day, but we truly appreciate it, and you!
I second Jenn’s sentiment! Please keep at it, UR, for all the readers like me who take a look every day but only occasionally throw in our two cents’ worth of wisdom … We probably don’t say it enough, but we appreciate your efforts and the regular virtual community you have created. Bravo!
Thanks, jenn and hal. I have no immediate plans to cease posting. I was just complaining to a fellow WordPress blogger about the less than positive aspects of daily blogging. It can be a bit of a grind. I know the faithful readers, like you guys, appreciate the effort. I just need to vent every once in a while.
