(So long as he was upbeat on the downbeat! Today’s Jumble was just an excuse for Jeff Knurek to draw his favorite band! And, it’s a great likeness! There were no new clue words today, however all of the jumbles came up as new. The jumble for “video” is in alphabetic order. The answer letter layout was good, but you can only do so much to hide a one word 6-letter answer. The cartoon is the thing though. Well, they hid the one word 6-letter answer pretty well from me! Somehow I always think of ‘PUBATE’ (which is not even a real word) when those letters come up. I did get UPBEAT after a few seconds. I had trouble with FLABBY and, to a lesser extent, VIDEO.
I had trouble with TULIP for some reason. And for the cartoon I started out with BEATUP…..
